The Call of Fate

7/16/17 - I took second with this one! And best of Round 1 as well!

YES! Finally got this done! My entry to theRainbowOverlord's Kingdom Hearts Royale pageant! Chose to go with Dawn, my SoKai baby I need more KH OCs who actually follow the games and not some convoluted AU I've cooked up =O

There was a lot of work and setbacks put into these three dolls but in the end, I love how they all turned out (Round 3 is my absolute favorite of the bunch. The dress, the background, all of it is my best damn work)

Round One: Before the Storm
Dawn was born and raised on Destiny Islands. Her mother was Kairi, her father Sora and Riku was always her Uncle, despite not being blood family at all. She had a perfectly normal, happy life there until she was about twelve, when one day a strange pearl washed up on the beach. That night, Destiny Islands was thrown back into the darkness. Sora and Riku were lost and Kairi fled to Radiant Gardens with her daughter.

Round Two: The Touch of Fate
Four years later, Dawn set off to find out what became of her family and ends up in Traverse Town, that place of journey's beginnings. There, she met many new people, one of whom claimed to have been from her lost homeworld and who passed onto her the Keyblade of that world, the Touch of Fate.

Round Three: Princess of Heart
Though Dawn's story is far from complete, here she celebrates a great victory at a ball held in Disney Castle. Dawn, like her mother before her, is a Princess of Heart and so holds a place of great honor. Of course, being a Princess of Heart also puts a target on one's back the size of a world. This moment of peace will surely not last for long before she's back at it again, continuing her journey.
