Sammie's Ribbon Tutorial

A new tutorial. I did this one for a friend so she could do a ribbon for a medallion and decided to share it with all of you.

Now for the steps:

1) Draw a squiggly line in the shape you'd like.
2) Now draw some extra lines. The ones in blue are our inside lines showing the interior of the ribbon
3) Now clean the lines up, fixing and changing where necessary c:
4) Now for basic colors. Shade the interior darker than the exterior.
5) Now shade! Shading here is for a silky type, using seven colors in total (three dark, three light, one outline)

And now you have a ribbon or whatever you'd like it to be
